SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. -- The USMTS Casey’s Cup Series event slated for Thursday, June 14, at the Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn., has been canceled due to rain. Track and series officials have not yet determined a make-up date, but are working on a possible rescheduing of the event at the 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval.

The weather forecast looks much more promising for the remainder of the weekend as the USMTS Modifieds take aim at two nights of action on Friday and Saturday, June 15-16, at the Cedar Lake Speedway near New Richmond, Wis., as part of the classic 14th Annual Masters event.

After nearly a decade since their last visit to the historic facility, the USMTS Modifieds joined the Masters event last year as they shared the spotlight with the UMP Late Models during their annual Summer Nationals “Hell Tour” grind. Defending USMTS National Champion Ryan Gustin swept both nights of last year's tilt.

Grandstands open at 5:00 each day and racing will begin at 7:00. Adult tickets are $25 on Friday and $30 on Saturday. Kids ages 6-16 are half price each day with children 5 and under admitted free of charge.
