The deadline to get your hands on tickets for this year’s USMTS Awards Banquet is approaching fast, and ends at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16.

Individual tickets are $40 each and are on sale now by calling the USMTS offices at (515) 832-7944 during normal business hours.

The United States Modified Touring Series will celebrate the sponsors, crew members, drivers and their families on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Mo.

A record 228 people attended last year’s ceremony. This year’s party will once again be a joint effort for both the USRA and United States Racing Association (USRA). Fans and members of the media are invited to attend too.

Headlining the honorees, Jason Hughes will be celebrated for capturing the 2016 USMTS national championship—his second straight and third overall—following the closest finish in the 18-year history of the series.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening’s meal will feature a luxurious and plentiful selection of fine food, plus a huge dessert bar. A cash bar will also be available. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 7 and the awards ceremony kicks off at 8 p.m.
