$50,000-to-win Modified Masters live on RacinDirt

With less than two weeks to go before the biggest race in the history of the USMTS, the dirt racing world is busy preparing for the mega-event to be held at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis.

Known for hosting a number of national marquee events, this is the first time in track history they have paid out $50,000 to win a Modified event.

It all begins Thursday, June 15, with a $3,000-to-win RHRSwag.com USMTS Northern Region event. Friday, June 16, is qualifying night for the Modified Masters with each competitor running two heat races. Last chance races and alphabet soup features will lead up to Saturday's 70-lap, $50,000-to-win finale.

Advanced tickets for the event are available by calling (612) 363-0479.

Additional information about the event can be found at www.cedarlakespeedway.com and USMTS news and information is available at their online home at www.usmts.com.

If you are unable to attend, RacinDirt will have the entire production live on www.racindirt.com. This will be an explosive broadcast with a multi-camera production, a dedicated host, pre- and post-race interviews, FK Rod Ends Instant Replay and other video elements mixed in as time allows.

Officials from the Cedar Lake Speedway and United States Modified Touring Series announced the change to the track’s annual Masters late last year with an event that will produce the biggest winner’s check in the history of the USMTS.

Set for Thursday-Saturday, June 15-17, 2017, the 19th Annual Modified Masters event will feature a whopping $50,000 top prize to the winner of the main event with a minimum of $2,000 to take the green flag.

Mirroring the track’s $50,000-to-win USA Nationals dirt late model show in August, the Modified Masters presents a complete $3,000-to-win USMTS show on Thursday, followed by Modified Masters qualifying on Friday and the big finale on Saturday.

Tickets and camping reservations are on sale now at www.cedarlakespeedway.com.
