Worthington USMTS Race rescheduled for July 2nd

WORTHINGTON, Minn. -- The United States Modified Touring Series race at Worthington, MN that was rained out on June 21st has been rescheduled and will be run on Wednesday July 2nd. This race will tie in with the already scheduled USMTS race at Owatonna, MN on the 3rd of July and the Cresco Speedway race on the 4th of July. This race was to be part of the USMTS National Tour swing and late day rain showers ended the chance for the race to be run. Promoter Sean Enfield called the USMTS office and wanted to reschedule the race and the date he decided was Wednesday July 2nd.

Gates will open at 4:30 pm with hot laps slated for 7pm and racing to follow. The USMTS will move to the Steele County Fairgrounds on Thursday before ending the three-day swing at the Cresco Speedway on Friday. For more information call the USMTS office at 515-832-7944 or call Todd Staley at 515-297-3870.
