USMTS Action Takes Ebert to Arrowhead

Dan Ebert trekked south Arrowhead Speedway (Colcord, Okla.) over the weekend for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) tripleheader.

Fifty-five Modified competitors passed through the pit gate for Thursday night's opener, and Dan inched into the main event with a second-place finish in his B-Main. He went on to start 17th in the feature before finishing 15th.

A $4,000-to-win program took center stage on Friday evening, and on the heels of the fastest time in his qualifying group, followed by a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Ebert earned the 13th-starting spot for the feature. Advancing two positions he registered an 11th-place finish in the 40-lap feature.

Saturday night's $10,000-to-win finale saw Ebert utilizing a series provisional to start 25th on the starting grid for the 50-lap feature. Passing six cars in the weekend finale, Ebert finished 19th.

Dan sits seventh in the latest series standings.
