Compstar to present USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award in 2020

By USMTS (Fostoria, OH) -- Compstar Engine Components by Callies Performance Products will be the official sponsor of the popular USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey's in 2020.

"Compstar Engine Components by Callies Performance Products is excited to sponsor the USMTS in 2020," said Marketing Director Breann Fredritz. "With this partnership we hope to increase awareness of the Compstar line and share why these products stand out from similar offerings by other companies. Callies Compstar wants to help you get into the winners circle."

Compstar components were introduced in 2004 as a product line designed to meet and exceed the requirements of today's sportsman racer. They are forged and semi-finished at various offshore locations. Out of respect for their customers and their integrity, Callies will not hide this fact. Instead, they are committed to constantly examine and evaluate these components, enabling Callies to offer the best offshore components available.

Unlike similar offerings by other companies, all Compstar components are finished and inspected at Callies' manufacturing facility. Compstar utilizes precision gauging and material evaluation equipment that is routinely ISO 17025 certified for consistent accountability. This investment in perfection allows Compstar to maintain proper geometry and quality control, while monitoring both metallurgy and design.

The 2020 schedule for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey's is highlighted by 58 nights of racing at 33 unique dirt ovals as part of the 22nd season for the world's Best of the Best in dirt modified racing.

The campaign will blast off at the I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton, Texas, on Friday, February 28, as part of a Lone Star State swing featuring six races over the course of nine days. The tireless USMTS touring titans will roll two hours south on Saturday, February 29, as they return to the South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi before wrapping up the season-opening tripleheader on Sunday, March 1, at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige.

Fans and racers trek to the Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas, for the 10th annual Texas Spring Nationals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5-7. The engines scream again three weeks later for the first of five crown jewels this season when the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., hosts King of America X powered by Summit on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 26-28.
