SPRING VALLEY, Minn.—A day of blue skies and sunshine Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway quickly turned to dark skies, rain and lightning in the early evening and forced the postponement of the 16th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree finale until Sunday afternoon.

With three USRA B-Mod heats were in the books, a new complete program will be staged on Sunday with pit gates opening at 12 noon and the first green flag at 3 p.m.

Fans will to witness a complete program highlighted by the USMTS Modifieds (co-sanctioned by the USRA) and the Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA B-Mods.

More than 150 entries competed on Thursday and Friday.

Modifieds will be shooting for a $12,000 top prize and $900 just to start the main event while the winner of the B-Mod main event will pocket $1,000.

Thirty cars will take the green flag to start the main event in both classes on all three nights.

As if that wasn’t enough, Modified drivers who don’t make their way into Saturday’s championship finale will have a chance at one of 30 spots in the Non-Qualifiers Race which carries a $2,000 top prize and pays $400 to start.

With a complete show on Sunday, new drivers are welcome to take part in the event.
