Bloomfield, Memphis on tap April 20-21



BLOOMFIELD, Iowa -- After earlier failed attempts due to intervention from Mother Nature, O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series fans look like they will finally get a chance this weekend as the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway and the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., will host the 2nd Annual Iowa-Missouri Border War this Friday and Saturday, April 20-21.

Both events were rained out earlier this month, but the weather forecast for this weekend looks sunny and bright so plan to wind ’em up and let ’em eat.

Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway: Friday’s event will also be the first track points night for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Hornets. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7. Grandstand admission will be $15 for adults, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children 5 and under get in for FREE. Pit passes will be $25.

Both events will pay $2,000 to win and a minimum $250 to start. Drivers will earn points in the Central Region.
