Rowland Racing busts out snazzy new T-shirts

WOODWARD, Okla. - Bryan Rowland and Brandon Kenny, both from Woodward, Okla., have unveiled their new T-shirts which they will have available at the “Team Green” hauler in the pits at every USMTS event this summer.

Created by Intensitee Custom Racewear in Boone, Iowa, the new shirt features both Rowland Racing team Skyrocket Modifieds on the front, and are available in a variety of sizes.

While they are teammates on the road, both Kenny and Rowland are embroiled in a tight battle for the Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar Rookie of the Year with the O'Reilly USMTS National Tour. Kenny currently has the rookie points lead over fellow Woodward wheelman Dereck Ramirez with Rowland sitting third in the rankings.

Rowland is also a candidate for the Dustin Duncan Memorial "Just Say Yes" Rookie of the Year Award in the O'Reilly USMTS Southern Series, where he is fourth behind John O Whittington, Ramirez and Shane Hebert.

So far this season, both drivers have 21 starts with the O'Reilly USMTS National Tour and 14 starts with the O'Reilly USMTS Southern Series.

Kenny, who will be married in Mexico this July, holds a slight edge over Rowland in all four regions of the O'Reilly USMTS National Tour, as well as the O'Reilly USMTS Southern Series.

In the Yeager Machine Upper Midwest Region, Kenny is seventh in points with one top-5 and two top-10 finishes while Rowland is eighteenth and still looking for his first top-10.

In the Mo-Kan Region, Kenny is seventh in the standings with one top-5 and four top-10 finishes. Rowland is fourteenth in points.

In the Great Plains Region, Kenny is sixth and Rowland is fourteenth. In the Central States Region, Kenny and Rowland are fifteenth and sixteenth, respectively.

Both drivers are among the top-10 in the O'Reilly USMTS Southern Series. Kenny is currently ninth with two top-5s and five top-10s while Rowland is just 22 points behind in ninth with four top-10 finishes.
